1. Job Description
The Manager, Plant is under the direct supervision of the Managing Director and will be responsible for all the operations of RTA Plant.

2. Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to lead our furniture manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing plant operations, implementing efficient production processes, and ensuring high-quality standards. The Plant Manager will play a crucial role in achieving production targets, optimizing resources, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

2. Team Leadership:
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of production, maintenance, and quality assurance professionals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and guidance to enhance the skills and performance of the plant workforce.

3. Quality Assurance:
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality furniture products.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain ISO and other relevant quality standards.

4. Resource Optimization:
• Manage resources effectively to meet production targets while controlling costs.
• Optimize the use of machinery, equipment, and manpower to enhance productivity.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

5. Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Implement and monitor safety programs to maintain a safe working environment.
• Investigate and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

6. Minimum Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Manufacturing Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum experience of at least five years in a furniture manufacturing or similar industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• BBPL application form indicating clearly the post applied for
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) clearly indicating requirements referred to above
• 2 referrals/recommendation letters from non-family related referees
• Academic transcripts (Class XII, Degree and Masters, if applicable)
• Experience certificate
• Security Clearance Certificate (online)
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Citizenship Identity Card (CID), and
• No Objection Certificate from the previous employer, if selected only.

9. Salary & Other benefits
• Basic Salary: Nu.21,381.00
• Pay scale: 21,381-501-38,664
• Corporate Allowance: 10%
• Other benefits and allowances as per BBPL Internal Service Rules of the company.
