BBPL is an undertaking of the Royal Government of Bhutan, which was set up in 1982. It is the first Company in the Country and one of the first pioneers in the SAARC region to venture into production of graded plain and pre-laminated particleboard. It also pioneered production of knockdown furniture in 1993, which was a revolutionary concept in the West then.
